Ingredients
  • 1 onion Sliced {medium}
  • half capsicum a . cut in small pieces
  • 1 tbsp ghee .
  • salt .
  • red chilli powder .
  • 1 tsp haldi powder {turmeric}
  • 1 tsp Sugar .
  • cumin seeds .
  • corriander chopped .
  • corn seeds a fistfull american .
  • 1 cup rice {soak in 2 cups water}

  • 1 tbsp ghee .
  • salt .
  • red chilli powder .
  • 1 tsp haldi powder {turmeric}
  • 1 tsp Sugar .
  • cumin seeds .
  • corriander chopped .
  • corn seeds a fistfull american .
  • 1 cup rice {soak in 2 cups water}
Instructions
  1. heat ghee in a cooker. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  2. add the onions and the sugar. {the sugar helps the onion turn nice brown}. when the edges of the onion in brown, add the corn and the salt, chilli pwdr and turmeric powder. Mix well.
  3. Add the pre-soaked rice {dont throw the water, add that to the cooker}
  4. Put on the lid and let it take 2 whistles.
  5. After the steam has settled open the lid add the capsicum and corriander and put the lid on for 5 min.
  6. the rice is ready to be served.
