Horse gram or kulith sprout salad might sound exotic, however it is one of the healthiest thing around too. Did you know horse gram can ease the kidney stone? It helps to get rid of urinary impurities, solve constipation and helps to keep heart in check too.

  1. Put the sprouts in a pan and add water. Cover the pan and let it steam on a low heat for 10-12 minutes or until they are done. By done we mean it shout not be mushy. The gram is pretty hard to start with. We want it to have a bite to it and not be all mushy.
  2. Once done, remove in a bowl. While it is still warm, add the ginger and tomatoes.
  3. Add the cucumber, carrots, salt, pepper, lemon juice and coriander just before serving.
