Lasagna Rolls

This was my first attempt at handling the rectangle pasta sheet. To my surprise, it is a hit in the friends and family circle.

Lasagna Rolls
This was my first attempt at handling the rectangle pasta sheet. To my surprise, it is a hit in the friends and family circle.

Instructions
  1. For the filling:
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Add the onion, let it sweat.
  4. Add the baked beans and peppers.
  5. Let it cook on medium heat with lid on for 10 min. Stir occasionally.
  6. Add the seasonings and spinach.
  7. Cover and let the spinach cook for further 3 min.
  8. Turn off the gas and add the cheese.
  9. The residual heat shall melt the cheese.
  10. Let it cool completely till further use.
  11. For the Lasagna-
  12. Boil water in a pan that can fit the sheets straight.
  13. Add oil and the sheets.
  14. Boil for roughly 10 min. Check if they are Al-dente.
  15. Remove and place separately on trays.
  16. To Assemble-
  17. In the baking tray, put a layer of the sauce.
  18. On a flat surface, put the lasagna sheet and add the filling lengthwise in the middle.
  19. Roll is carefully.
  20. Place the seam-side down in the baking tray.
  21. Repeat the process for all the sheets.
  22. Cover the rolled lasagna with some more sauce.
  23. Add the cheese and top.
  24. Bake in a pre heated 180C oven for 20 min.
  25. Serve with love.
